As Knowledge Partners, we were invited to conduct the Master Class on ESG ( jointly with IIM Professors) on the global scenario and export opportunities for MSMEs & the emerging need for an early adoption of ESG related processes & compliances.
This was followed by the ESG Self-Assessment survey for the MSMEs, both in online and off-line modes, in English and in Hindi, by way of a comprehensive questionnaire,designed by SustainEdgeESG ; and subsequently compiled and analysed by the experts from SustainEdgeESG to assess their readiness and to evaluate their current status and to identify Compliance Gaps.
SustainEdgeESG partners, participated in the structured networking lunch & breakouts, facilitating 1 to 1 interactions between the about 125 MSME owners , representatives of financial institutions and the officials from the government ; and collected a very valuable direct feedback , practical and actionable information.
SustainEdgeESG partners participated in the discussion panels on ‘Opportunities for MSMEs of Uttar Pradesh and the ESG compliances necessary for Export’ , and on
‘Improving access to Green Finance,reducing capital costs and overcoming regulatory risks’. Various industry specific solutions were put forward.
While Mr Kumar Manish( based out of Mumbai) and Mr Anukool Bhatnagar( ex Delhi/ Chandigarh) were the Partners of SustainEdgeESG present in person ,
Mr Ashok Sethi participated via Video from California, USA and Smt Padamja Parange ( based out of Mumbai) kept the critical information flowing.
The India ESG submit was organised exclusively for MSMEs in Uttar Pradesh by the India ESG Alliance and AFC India Limited in collaboration with
the Government of Uttar Pradesh together with IIM Lucknow and SustainEdgeESG as knowledge partners and other stakeholders.
The summit aimed to strengthen MSME’s capacity to adopt ESG practices, thereby improving competitiveness & enabling them to access
global markets while ensuring compliance with emerging international standards. The programme focused on building awareness, providing practical
tools and creating an enabling ecosystem for sustainable and responsible business practices.
An Ind ESG Handbook was also launched to provide comprehensive information for easy reference.
